Oriental Liver And Vegetables Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 teaspoons peanut or vegetable oil | ||
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Chicken livers | 10 Ounce | |
| Mushrooms | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Green bell pepper | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
Directions
In 10-inch skillet heat oil; add onion and garlic and saute until onion is translucent.
Add livers, mushrooms, and green pepper (or celery) and saute over medium-high heat for 5 minutes.
In measuring cup combine water, soy sauce, and cornstarch, stirring to dissolve cornstarch; stir into liver mixture and sprinkle with pepper.
Stirring constantly, cook until mixture thickens.
