Oriental Chicken Wings Recipe
Chicken wings with an oriental touch. I tried this Oriental Chicken Wings recipe last week and was greatly impressed with the final brew. When serving this make sure that you transfer it to a slow cooker and let guests serve themselves from it. This oriental chicken wings recipe is pretty easy.
Ingredients
10 Chicken Wings
2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
1/3 Cup Water
Directions
Separate each chicken wing into three sections, discarding the tip section.
Rinse, then pat dry with paper towels.
In an electric skillet, combine soy sauce, water, sugar and ginger; bring to a boil.
Add chicken wing pieces.
Reduce heat, simmer, covered, 30 minutes, stirring often.
Remove cover; simmer 15 to 30 minutes, or until chicken separates easily from the bone.
Party hint: After cooking the wings for 30 minutes in electric skillet, transfer them to a slow cooker.
Set temperature on high, cover and cook at least 3 hours, or until party time.
Let guests serve themselves from the slow cooker.
