Oriental Soup Recipe

Oriental Soup is simply a delicious recipe. A delicious appetizer recipe; I bet this Oriental Soup will surely tempt you to prepare on every party!

Ingredients

1 cup (250 mL) vermicelli
4 cups (1 L) bouillon of your choice
1/4 tsp (1 mL) powdered ginger
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
4 thin slices lemon
1/2 lb (250 g) ground beef
Paprika
2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil

How to make Oriental Soup

€¢ Bring 3 cups (750 mL) water to the boil 10 to 15 minutes at HIGH.
€¢ Add the vermicelli. Microwave 6 minutes at HIGH. Drain.
€¢ Place the bouillon in a 10-cup (2.5 L) microwave-safe bowl.
€¢ Add the ginger, salt and lemon.
€¢ Microwave 6 minutes at HIGH.
€¢ Make a flat pancake with the ground meat. Sprinkle with paprika on one side.
€¢ Preheat a microwave browning dish 6 minutes at HIGH.
€¢ Without removing the dish from the oven, pour in the vegetable oil and place the ground meat pancake, paprika side down, on the dish.
€¢ Microwave 3 minutes at HIGH.
€¢ Remove from oven, cut into 6 wedges or squares, and place a piece in the bottom of each bowl. Cover with vermicelli.
€¢ Add the very hot soup.
€¢ The meat and vermicelli can be microwave ahead of time (do not refrigerate).
€¢ When ready to serve, heat the bouillon and pour over the meat and vermicelli.
€¢ If necessary, microwave 2 minutes at HIGH.
