Oriental Pork Recipe
The oriental pork is a microwaved and easy pork recipe. Prepared with pork strips and veggies like snow peas, red pepper and mushrooms, it I spiced with ginger and garlic. Flavored with sherry, is saucy and savory.

| Grated ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Dry sherry | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 1 pound boneless pork, cut into 2- by 1/4-inch strips | ||
| Beef broth | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 cup fresh snow peas | ||
| Sweet red pepper | 1 To taste, cut into thin strips | |
| Mushrooms | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Hot cooked rice | ||
Directions
In 3-quart microwave-safe casserole, stir together oils, ginger, soy sauce, sherry and garlic.
Stir in pork to coat.
Cover with lid; refrigerate 1 hour.
Microwave, covered, on HIGH 5 minutes or until pork is no longer pink, stirring once during cooking.
In small bowl, stir together broth and cornstarch; add to pork mixture along with peas, pepper and mushrooms.
Cover; microwave on HIGH 7 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirring 3 times during cooking.
Stir in pork to coat.
