Oriental Hamburger Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Onions | 2 Medium, finely chopped | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Cream and mushroom soup | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Cream of chicken soup | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Rice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Chow mein noodles | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Monosodium glutamate | 1/2 Teaspoon |
Directions
Crumble meat into a deep, 3-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole and heat, uncovered, on roast for 6 minutes or until meat is browned.
Stir after half of cooking time.
Add remaining ingredients to meat mixture.
Cover and heat on roast for 25 minutes or until mixture is hot.
Uncover, stir and heat for an additional 5 minutes.
