Oriental Fish for a Low Fat Diet Recipe
Ingredients
| Fish fillets | 12 Ounce | |
| Fresh Ginger- 1 tablespoon, coarsely grated | ||
| Oyster sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Dry vermouth | 2 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Rinse the fish well under cold water and cut each fillet in half.
2) Arrange the fish fillets over a large piece of aluminium and turn the edges to make a container.
MAKING
3) In a steamer, heat water to boil.
4) In a bowl, place together ginger with oyster sauce, vermouth and sugar.
5) Stir the ginger mixture well and stream over the fish.
6) In the top part of steamer place the fish and put the lid on.
7) Steam the fish, allowing 8 to 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until the fish falls of easily with fork.
8) Carefully lift the fish and place over the serving plate topped with the liquid from the foil.
SERVING
9) Serve the fish steaming hot with steamed rice if desired.
