 Chicken breasts4
 Oil1 Teaspoon
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 cup condensed chicken or beef broth
 Bamboo shoots1/2 Cup (16 tbs), drained
 Water chestnuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), drained
 Soy sauce1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1 Tablespoon
 Cornstarch1 Tablespoon
 Cold water1 Tablespoon
 Mandarin oranges1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), drained

Directions

Brown chicken in hot oil in large fry pan for 7 to 10 minutes.
Add onion, broth, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and soy sauce.
Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
Combine sugar and cornstarch; stir in cold water.
Add to chicken mixture, stirring carefully until mixture thickens.
Add mandarin oranges; heat through.
Serve on rice.
