Oriental Beef And Vegetables Recipe

Ingredients
| 1 lb. boneless top sirloin steak | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Dry sherry | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pea package | 1 , frozen | |
| Sweet red pepper | 1 Medium, cut into strips | |
| Water chestnuts | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
Directions
Slice steak diagonally across grain into 2 1/4 x 1/2 inch strips.
In medium bowl, combine garlic, soy sauce, sherry, water, cornstarch, brown sugar, ginger and mustard.
Add beef, mix well and refrigerate 30 minutes.
Drain, reserving marinade.
Place beef and oil in 2-quart oblong glass baking dish.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at high (10) 8 to 10 minutes, until beef is no longer pink; stir after 5 minutes.
Add reserved marinade, pea pods, red pepper and water chestnuts.
Cover.
Microwave at high (10) 7 to 9 minutes until sauce is thickened and vegetables are crisp-tender; stir after 4 minutes.
