Oriental Barbecued Scallops Recipe

Ingredients

 
1/2 cup soy sauce
 
1 tablespoon sugar
 
2 tablespoons white wine
 
2 teaspoons lemon juice
 
1 teaspoon sesame oil
 
1 clove garlic, crushed
 
3 to 4 pounds large sea scallops

Directions

Mix all ingredients, except scallops, in large bowl.
Add scallops; cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
Thread scallops on skewers; reserve marinade.
Grill scallops, on uncovered grill, over medium-hot Briquets 10 minutes or until scallops turn opaque, turning and brushing with reserved marinade.
