Oriental Barbecued Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
3/4 cup DOLEĀ® Pineapple Juice
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/4 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
3/4 teaspoon cornstarch
Directions
In small bowl, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic and five-spice powder.
Place chicken in plastic bag or nonmetal bowl.
Add juice mixture; marinate, covered, in refrigerator 15 minutes or overnight.
Drain marinade into small saucepan.
Stir in cornstarch; cook and stir until marinade boils and thickens.
Place chicken on greased broiler pan.
Broil, 4 inches from heat source, 10 to 15 minutes on each side or until chicken is tender and no longer pink.
Baste chicken with marinade frequently during broiling.
