Oregano And Bread Crumbs Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
5 slices pepperoni, cut Into strips
5 slices salami, cut Into strips
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 French shallot, finely chopped
15 mL 1 tbsp margarine
50 mL 1/4 cup dry white wine
15 mL 1 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
75 mL 1/3 cup black olives, chopped
50 mL 3 tbsp corn oil
500 g 1 lb spaghetti, cooked
175 mL 3/4 cup fine bread crumbs
Directions
Melt the margarine in a non-stick frying pan and brown the pepperoni and salami strips, the garlic and the shallots over medium-high heat for 3 minutes.
Add the wine, oregano and olives; reduce by half then add the oil and the pasta.
Mix well until hot, then add the bread crumbs, stirring well.
