Orange Walnut Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

 
2 to 3 oranges
 
1 tablespoon lemon juice
 
1/2 cup sugar
 
1/4 cup coarsely chopped Diamond Walnuts
 
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

Directions

With vegetable peeler, remove the outer colored layer of oranges.
Cut enough of orange peel into slivers with sharp-knife to measure 3 tablespoons.
Squeeze juice from oranges to measure .1 cup.
In small saucepan, simmer juice and slivers over low heat 5 minutes.
In small bowl, combine sugar and cornstarch; blend into hot mixture.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens.
Add lemon juice; cool.
Add walnuts just before serving.
