Orange Walnut Cake Recipe

|Grated orange peel||2 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|

|Finely chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|

Combine cake mix, orange peel and juice and water in a large bowl; beat, following label directions; stir in walnuts.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake in moderate oven (350°F) 50 minutes, or until top springs back when lightly pressed with fingertip.
Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes.
Loosen cake around edge with a knife; release spring and carefully lift off side of pan.
Place cake on a wire rack; cool completely.
Remove cake from metal base; place on a serving plate.
Make orange glaze.
Spoon over top of cake, letting mixture drizzle down side.
Sprinkle thin strips of orange peel over top, if you wish.
orange glaze Blend 1 cup sifted 10X (con fectioners' powdered) sugar and 1 tablespoon orange juice until smooth in a small bowl; stir in 1 tablespoon more orange juice, part at a time, until glaze is thin enough to pour from a spoon.
