Orange Sauerkraut Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1-lb. 12-oz. can sauerkraut | ||
| Mandarin oranges | 1 11 Ounce | |
| Orange peel | 2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Caraway seed | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Raisins | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Melted butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Drain sauerkraut and oranges, reserving juice from oranges.
Combine sauerkraut, orange peel, caraway seed, raisins and reserved juice.
Add salt and pepper.
Place in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole; cover.
Bake in 350-degree oven for 1 hour.
Arrange orange segments on top; drizzle with melted butter.
Return to oven for 10 minutes.
