Directions

Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Grease 18 large (3-inch) muffin cups.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, 1/4 cup sugar and mace into mixing bowl.
Add 1/2 cup butter and cut in finely.
Add enough of the milk to make a soft puffy dough that is easy to handle.
Mix lightly and quickly with a fork.
Turn out on floured board and knead lightly 20 times.
Roll dough into a rectangle 18 X 8 inches.
Brush with 1 tbsp. melted butter.
Combine 1/4 cup sugar, brown sugar, pecans, orange rind and honey in small saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring constantly, just until the sugar begins to melt.
Spread on dough.
Roll up dough from one wide side, sealing open end well by pinching it into the roll.
Cut into 18 slices and put, cut sides down, in prepared muffin pans.
Brush tops of rolls with remaining 1 tbsp. butter.
Bake about 15 minutes or until well browned.
