Orange-Pineapple Ice Cream Recipe
First of all let me thank my neighbor for sharing this excellent Orange-pineapple Ice Cream recipe. I tried this recipe for Orange-pineapple Ice Cream the other day and was totally bowled over. I am certain we both will agree that this Orange-pineapple Ice Cream is very scrumptious.
Ingredients
1 (6-ounce) package orange-flavored gelatin
2 cups boiling water
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (13-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (8-ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (6-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
Directions
Dissolve the gelatin in boiling water, and let cool.
Beat eggs in a large bowl at medium speed of an electric mixer until frothy.
Add sugar, mixing well.
Stir in gelatin and remaining ingredients.
Pour into freezer can of a 1-gallon freezer.
Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
Let ice cream ripen at least 1 hour.
Yield: about 1 gallon.
