Orange Pear Salad Recipe
Orange pear salad is a simple sakad served on lettuce beds. Prepared with sour craem and honey to taste, the orange pear salad is served with a sprinkling of sesame seeds and great as a light and refreshing side.
Ingredients
| Dairy sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Orange peel | 1/4 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Oranges | 2 Large, peeled | |
| 6 pears, pared, halved, and cored | ||
| 1 head Bibb lettuce | ||
| Sesame seed | 1 Tablespoon, toasted | |
Directions
To make dressing, blend sour cream with honey and orange peel.
Cut each orange into six slices.
For each salad, spread one orange slice with sour cream-honey dressing; top with second orange slice.
Insert orange sandwich between two pear halves; place on lettuce-lined plates.
Top with remaining dressing.
Sprinkle with sesame seed.
