Orange-Maple Sauce Recipe
Try out this Orange-Maple Sauce; a very different and delicious fruit sauce made using orange juice and flavored with Maple syrup. This Orange-Maple Sauce is a very interesting topping sauce to serve with pancakes or waffles. Also, remember to serve this Orange-Maple Sauce in fondue stype, this will add on to the fun!
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Light brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup maple-flavored pancake syrup | ||
| Orange juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange rind | 1 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Sherry | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Melt butter or margarine in metal fondue pot over direct high heat.
Stir in flour and sugar; heat until bubbly.
Stir in remaining ingredients, except sherry.
Heat; simmer 2 or 3 minutes.
Stir in sherry, if used.
Ladle over pancakes or waffles.
