Orange Liqueur Mousse Recipe

The orange liquer mousse is a frozen dessert made with gelatin, cream and orange liquer. Whipped and combined together, the cream and gelatin is set as a mold and served with extra whipped cream and coconut as topping. It is a lovely summertime dessert and is very popular at my place.

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add cold water and cool mixture to room temperature.
Stir in orange liqueur.
Chill in refrigerator until mixture starts to thicken (about 30 minutes).
Whip cream until it piles softly.
Gradually add gelatin mixture, stirring gently until evenly blended.
Pour into a mold.
Chill until set.
Turn out of mold onto serving plate and top with additional whipped cream and coconut, if desired.
