Orange-Glazed Ham Steak Recipe

| 1 ham slice 1 to 2-inch (2.5 to 5 cm) thick | ||

Directions
In a 12 x 9-inch (30 x 23 cm) glass baking dish, combine brown sugar, cornstarch and curry powder.
Stir in the orange juice and rind.
Mix well.
Place the ham slice in the mixture, then turn it two or three times to coat it well on both sides.
Stud the fat here and there with the cloves.
Microwave 10 minutes at MEDIUM, uncovered, moving the ham slice and spooning the sauce halfway through the cooking.
Then cover and microwave 10 minutes at MEDIUM.
Let stand 5 minutes, covered.
Set the ham on a platter, stir the sauce and use to glaze the top of the ham slice.
It's very interesting surrounded with cranberry sauce.
