Orange Flavored Beef Recipe
|Dry sherry||5 Teaspoon|
|Vegetable oil||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Ginger slices||2 (Each About 1 Inch Long)|
|Orange peel||3 1⁄2 Inch|
|Dried peppers||5 , finely chopped (With Seeds)|
|Scallions||2 Large, cut into pieces|
|Mushroom soy sauce||4 Teaspoon|
|Chicken broth/Chicken stock||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1/2 Cup Plus 2 Tablespoons)|
|Flank steak||1 1⁄4 Pound, thinly sliced and cut into 1 inch squares|
|Sesame oil||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|

Marinate beef in mixture for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in wok or large skillet until very hot.
Remove ginger and scallions from meat mixture and reserve.
Brown beef in oil, stirring constantly for 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove beef and drain well on absorbent paper towels.
Pour oil out, leaving 1 tablespoon.
Add ginger, scallions, orange peel and peppers; stir fry 1 minute.
Add beef, broth and l 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce, 2 1/2 teaspoons sherry and pinch sugar.
Bring to boil; cook rapidly over high heat, stirring until liquid evaporates, 3 to 4 minutes.
Sprinkle with sesame oil and serve at room temperature.
NOTE TO COOK: Carry to party in storage container or in serving dish.
