Orange Cranberry Relish Recipe
First of all let me thank my neighbor for sharing this excellent Orange Cranberry Relish recipe. I tried this recipe for Orange Cranberry Relish the other day and was totally bowled over. The marriage of the amazing flavors of Fruits with other ingredients is the secret to this Orange Cranberry Relish. Is there a higher crime than reading about this Orange Cranberry Relish and not trying it out?
Ingredients
1 pound cranberries
2 cups sugar
2 small thin skinned oranges
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
2 small tart apples, peeled and cored
1/4 teaspoon ginger
Directions
In a food processor, meat grinder, or with a sharp knife chop the cranberries until fine.
Peel the oranges and mince the rind.
Remove the bitter white pith from the oranges and any seeds and chop the flesh.
Chop the apples fine.
In a bowl combine the cranberries, rind, oranges, apples, sugar, cloves, and ginger and stir the mixture until combined well.
Transfer the mixture to jars or containers with tight fitting lids and let stand in the refrigerator for at least 2 days before serving.
