| 4-5 oz. short crust pastry | ||
| Marmalade | 1 Teaspoon (Leveled) | |
| Butter | 1 Ounce (For filling) | |
| Marmalade | 3 Ounce (For filling) | |
| Egg | 1 (For filling) | |
| 3 oz. soft cake crumbs | ||
Directions
Line patty tins with pastry and add a little marmalade.
Cream butter and marmalade, gradually beat in egg and crumbs.
Put mixture into tart cases and bake for 15-20 minutes in the centre of a moderately hot oven (400°F. gas Mark 5).
If desired, top with a little icing, made by combining icing sugar with enough orange juice to give spreading consistency.
