Orange Spare Ribs Recipe
Ingredients
| Pork spare ribs | 1.5 Kilogram | |
| Clear honey | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Oranges | 2 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste |
Directions
Cut the spare ribs into serving pieces.
Place the honey, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce in a small pan.
Grate the rind from one orange and add to the pan, together with the juice of both oranges.
Add salt and pepper to taste and heat gently, stirring occasionally.
Leave to cool, then pour over the meat.
Leave to marinate overnight.
Drain and reserve the marinade.
Place the spare ribs in a roasting pan and cook in a preheated moderate oven, 180°C (350°F), Gas Mark 4, for 1 hour.
Transfer to the barbecue grid, about 10 cm (4 inches) above the coals.
Cook for 15 minutes, turning and basting frequently with the reserved marinade, until crisp.
