Directions
Turn the frozen orange juice into a bowl and pour on the sugar syrup.
Leave to cool and then pour into a 1 pint (600 ml) ice cube tray and freeze to a mushy consistency.
Whisk the egg whites until thick and foamy but not dry.
Fold into the orange mixture and return to the freezer until firm; cover and label.
When required leave the sorbet to soften slightly in the refrigerator for 5 minutes then serve spooned into glasses.
