Orange Sauterne Jelly Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 cups dry sauterne | ||
| Orange juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Orange peel | 1 Teaspoon, finely grated | |
| Powdered package | 1/2 | |
| Honey | 4 Cup (16 tbs), flavored | |
Directions
Combine sauterne, juices, grated peel and pectin in a large sauce pot.
Bring to rolling boil.
Stir in honey.
Return to rolling boil.
Boil hard 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Skim foam if necessary.
Pour hot into hot, sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space.
Adjust caps.
Process 5 minutes in boiling water bath.
Bring to rolling boil.
Stir in honey.
Return to rolling boil.
Boil hard 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
