Orange Raisin Cake Recipe

Put raisin mixture through food grinder; set aside.
In large mixer bowl, cream together the 1 cup sugar and butter.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Stir in the ground fruit mixture.
Sift together cake flour, baking soda, and salt.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition.
Turn into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Cook at MEDIUM (5) for 9 minutes, giving dish half turn twice.
Cook at HIGH for 6 minutes or till done, giving dish half turn once.
Blend together orange juice, powdered sugar, and shredded orange peel.
Prick top of cake all over with fork.
Spoon glaze over warm cake.
