| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon rind | 1⁄4 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Orange rind | 1 Teaspoon, grated |

Directions
Cut prunes into small pieces.
Mix sugar and cornstarch and salt.
Add water and orange juice stirring until smooth.
Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer for three minutes or until sauce is smooth and transparent.
Remove from heat.
Add lemon juice, grated rinds and prunes.
Stir to blend.
Cool.
Serve over New York or vanilla ice cream.
Makes 1 1/2 cups.
