Orange Pineapple Nut Squares Recipe
Ingredients
2 cup Health Valley Orangeola cereal, finely crushed
1/2 tsp ground ginger
4 egg yolks
2 tsp safflower oil
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup unsweetened crushed pineapple, drained
4 egg whites
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine cereal and ginger.
In a small bowl, beat egg yolks, then add oil and milk.
Add to dry ingredients, then stir in nuts and pineapple.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold them into batter.
Spoon batter into greased 8 in. (20 cm) square baking pan.
Bake in preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until toothpick inserted in middle comes out dry.
