Directions

1. Preheat oven to 300°F. In a medium bowl, beat butter, cream cheese, and granulated sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla, orange extract, and orange zest.
2. Add cake flour and salt and beat on low speed until blended. Stir in pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until set but not browned. Let stand 2 minutes on cookie sheets, then roll in powdered sugar. Transfer to a rack and let cool completely.
