Orange Onion Salad With Celery Seed Dressing Recipe




 Almonds1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced
 Dark salad greens4 Cup (64 tbs) (Romaine, Escarole, Watercress, Etc.)

 Red onion1 Small, sliced thin and separated into rings

 Cider vinegar2 Tablespoon
 Honey1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
 Celery seed1⁄2 Teaspoon

The Salad:
Spread almonds on a baking sheet and bake at 300° for approximately 10 minutes until golden. Watch carefully, so they do not burn. Let cool.
Combine lettuce, oranges, and onion in salad bowl. Add toasted almonds.
The Dressing:
Combine dressing ingredients in a blender and whirl until well blended. Toss with salad mixture until thoroughly coated.
