1 pound Original
 
Recipe roll sausage
 
1 small onion, finely chopped
 
1 small red or yellow bell pepper, finely chopped
 
1 egg
 
2 tablespoons uncooked wheat farina cereal
 
1/2 cup maple syrup or maple-flavored syrup
 
3 to 5 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate to taste, slightly thawed

Directions

Combine first 5 ingredients in large bowl until well blended.
Shape into 3/4 inch balls.
Cook in large skillet over medium-high heat until browned on all sides and no longer pink in centers.
Drain off any drippings.
Add syrup and orange juice concentrate to sausage balls'.
Cook and stir over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes or until thick, bubbly syrup forms.
