 1 c. botded milk, scalded, or 1/2 c. evaporated milk and 1/2 c. water, scalded
 2 eggs,. slighdy beaten
 Granulated Sugar1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1/8 Teaspoon
 1 tablesp. plain, unflavored gelatin (1 pkg.)
 Orange juice1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Lime juice1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Corn syrup3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 c. light or heavy cream
 Orange rind1 1/2 Teaspoon, grated
 1 1/2 teasp. grated lemon rind

Directions

Slowly stir milk into combined eggs, sugar, and salt.
Cook over hot, not boiling water, while stirring, until mixture coats spoon—about 5 or 6 min.
Soak gelatin in orange juice 5 min.
Stir into custard with lime juice and corn syrup.
Cool.
Add cream.
Freeze in a 2-qt crank freezer until difficult to turn, using 8 parts crushed ice to 1 part ice-cream salt.
When almost frozen, add grated rinds.
Finish freezing.
Serve topped with raspberries, if desired.
