 Eggs2 , slightly beaten

 Plain unflavored gelatin1 Tablespoon (Plain, 1 Package)
 Orange juice1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Lime juice1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
 Corn syrup3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
 Light cream/Heavy cream1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Grated orange rind1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Grated lemon rind1 1⁄2 Teaspoon

Slowly stir milk into combined eggs, sugar, and salt.
Cook over hot, not boiling water, while stirring, until mixture coats spoon—about 5 or 6 min.
Soak gelatin in orange juice 5 min.
Stir into custard with lime juice and corn syrup.
Add cream.
Freeze in a 2-qt crank freezer until difficult to turn, using 8 parts crushed ice to 1 part ice-cream salt.
When almost frozen, add grated rinds.
Finish freezing.
Serve topped with raspberries, if desired.
