|Bottled milk/1/2 cup evaporated milk and 1/2 cup water, scalded||1 Cup (16 tbs), scalded|
|Eggs||2 , slightly beaten|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Plain unflavored gelatin||1 Tablespoon (Plain, 1 Package)|
|Orange juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lime juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Corn syrup||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Light cream/Heavy cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated orange rind||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Grated lemon rind||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|

Cook over hot, not boiling water, while stirring, until mixture coats spoon—about 5 or 6 min.
Soak gelatin in orange juice 5 min.
Stir into custard with lime juice and corn syrup.
Freeze in a 2-qt crank freezer until difficult to turn, using 8 parts crushed ice to 1 part ice-cream salt.
When almost frozen, add grated rinds.
Serve topped with raspberries, if desired.
