Orange Ice Cups Recipe
This is a lip smacking Orange Ice Cups recipe which will knockout anyone who eats it. Excuse my excitement. There is not a single month when I don't serve this yummy Dessert! Ingredients
3 1/2 cups water, divided
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
8 to 10 oranges
1 cup honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
Directions
Pour 1/2 cup water into a small bowl, and sprinkle gelatin on top.
Set aside for a few minutes to soften.
Cut oranges into halves, and squeeze until you have 3 cups juice.
Set aside.
Reserve orange shells.
In a large saucepan, combine 3 cups water and honey.
Bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute.
Remove from heat, and stir in gelatin mixture, mixing until dissolved.
Pour into a large bowl.
Mix in orange juice and lemon juice, and allow to cool.
Turn into 2 medium-size metal bowls, and place in freezer for 1 hour.
Remove from freezer, and beat.
Return to freezer, removing every hour to beat until mixture has been beaten 4 times.
Cover, and freeze until firm.
