Orange Glazed Mixed Vegetables Recipe
Ingredients
| Frozen mixed vegetables package | 2 | |
| Water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup unsweetened orange juice | ||
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Honey | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Orange rind | 2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Ground ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Arrange vegetables in a vegetable steamer over boiling water.
Cover and steam 10 minutes; drain.
Combine water, orange juice, and cornstarch in a small saucepan; stir well.
Cook over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, stirring constantly.
Stir in honey and remaining ingredients; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
Pour over vegetables, and toss well.
