Orange Ginger Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 lean pork chops | ||
| Orange juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 6 orange slices (1 large orange) | ||
| Dairy sour cream | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
1. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Place pork chops in skillet and brown well on both sides. Pork chops will loosen from pan as they brown and fat cooks out of meat.
2. Add orange juice.
3. Reduce heat to low and cover with vac-control closed. Simmer about 30 minutes.
4. Uncover and sprinkle chops with salt and ginger and top each with an orange slice. Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until chops are fork tender.
5. Remove chops to an oven-proof platter and top each chop with a tablespoon of sour cream. Place under broiler, about 3 inches from source of heat, and broil 1 minute. Serve immediately.
