Orange French Toast Recipe
Ingredients
| Eggs | 3 Small | |
| Milk | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Double cream | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Vanilla essence | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Orange juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Orange rind | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| 1 plain or madeira loaf cake, cut into 1 cm (1/2 in) slices | ||
| Butter | 15 Gram | |
| Whipped cream to serve | ||
Directions
1. Place eggs, milk, cream and vanilla in a mixing bowl and beat until frothy. Stir in orange juice and orange rind.
2. Dip cake slices into egg mixture. Melt butter in a large frying pan and cook cake slices over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes each side or until golden. Serve with whipped cream.
