Orange Cream Cheese Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 cup diet margarine | ||
| Half of 3-ounce package imitation cream cheese | ||
| Granulated Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange rind | 1/2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Orange juice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
2. Using electric mixer at high speed, beat together diet margarine, imitation cream cheese and sugar replacement in medium bowl until creamy; beat in orange rind and orange juice. With mixer at low speed, stir in sifted flour along with baking powder and salt.
3. Roll dough into 1-inch balls; place 1 1/2 inches apart on cookie sheet with nonstick finish. Flatten each ball with bottom of floured glass. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool.
