Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl; beat at low speed of an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Add vanilla and orange rind; beat well.
Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture, beating well.
Stir in chocolate morsels.
Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets; bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until edges just begin to brown.
Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
