Honey Orange Charlotte Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 envelopes unflavored gelatin | ||
| Cold water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Boiling water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg whites | 3 | |
| Heavy cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Mint leaves for garnish | ||
Directions
Soak gelatin in cold water.
Add boiling water and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Add honey, lemon juice, and orange juice.
Mix well.
Chill.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into mixture as it begins to set.
Whip cream until stiff.
Fold into gelatin mixture.
Pour into sherbet glasses and chill for several hours.
Garnish with mint leaves.
