Open-Faced English Hamburgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Hamburger | 2 Pound | |
| 6 English muffins, split in half | ||
| Seasoning salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Add garlic dressing to hamburger; form 12 patties.
Broil in oven 4 to 6 inches from flame until browned on one side.
Place patties on English muffin halves, browned-side down; sprinkle with seasoning salt.
Continue to broil until muffins and hamburger patties are browned.
Serve immediately.
Sprinkle patties with Parmesan cheese while broiling or allow a slice of swiss or cheddar cheese to melt on patty just before serving, if desired.
May be served as an appetizer by cutting muffins in 6 pie shaped wedges before serving.
