Open Face Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 ounces sliced American, Cheddar, Muenster, or Swiss cheese | ||
| 2 slices enriched white, whole wheat, rye, pumpernickel, or cracked wheat bread, toasted | ||
| Tomato | 1/2 Medium, sliced | |
Directions
Preheat broiler.
Place 2 ounces of cheese on each slice of bread.
Top each with half of the tomato slices, if desired.
Place in broiling pan or on aluminum foil and broil for 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese melts.
