Oniony French Bread Recipe
Ingredients
1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened
4 green onions, thinly sliced (about 2 tablespoons)
1 loaf (16 ounces) French bread
Directions
Combine margarine and onions.
Cut loaf crosswise in half.
Slice each horizontally, cutting almost through.
Spread cut sides with on ion butter.
Microwave, one half loaf at a time, on paper towel until hot, 45 seconds to 1 minute.
