Onions Provencale Recipe
My friend who had once tasted this Onions Provensale recipe of mine, became a fan and kept asking for it. And so I am posting this Onions Provensale for her and all of you out there. Do not wait for anything!
Ingredients
2 tbsp (30 ml) butter
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) onions
2 tbsp (30 ml) green bell pepper, diced
1 garlic clove, finely sliced
1/4 cup (60 ml) canned tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup (60 ml) tomato juice
Salt and pepper
Directions
– In a skillet, melt butter and saute onions for 4 minutes. Add green pepper and garlic and cook 2 minutes longer.
– Add tomatoes and tomato juice, season with salt and pepper and simmer for 3 minutes.
