Onion Tart With Anchovies And Black Olives Recipe
Ingredients
1 20 cm partly baked tart shell made with Pate Brisee
1 kg onions
4 tablespoons cooking oil
4 sprigs parsley
2 sprigs thyme
2 bay leaves
1 garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon powdered cloves
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
8 fillets of anchovy
16 pitted black olives
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
In the work bowl, chop the onions, herbs and garlic.
Cook them very slowly in the oil for approximately 1 hour or until tender.
Add the salt, cloves and pepper, and mix well.
Spread the mixture in the pastry shell.
Decorate with the anchovy fillets and the black olives.
Bake in top part of the oven for 10-15 minutes.
