Onion Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
250 gm flour
50 ml oil for dough, oil for frying
350 gm spring onions, chopped
25 ml oil
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp white pepper powder
Salt to taste, ajinomoto.
Directions
To prepare the dough, mix flour, oil and approximately 125 ml of water to make soft dough.
Cover for 30 minutes and divide into 12 equal portions and make balls.
Mix spring onion with the remaining ingredients, keep aside for 15 minutes and then squeeze out the excess moisture and divide into 12 equal portions.
In a lightly floured surface flatten each ball of dough into rectangular shape.
Place a portion of the filling in the centre, fold the side towards filling and roll, brushing little cold water on sides.
Heat oil, deep fry on moderate heat until golden brown in colour.
Serve with hot garlic or chilly sauce.
