Onion Dip Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
2 broiler-fryers (about 2 pounds each) cut up
1 envelope (2 packets) onion dip mix
1 cup soft bread crumbs (2 slices)
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Remove skin from chicken, if you wish; cut away small bones from breast pieces.
Combine dip mix, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper in a paper bag.
Shake chicken pieces, a few at a time, in mixture to coat well.
Place, not touching, in a single layer in a buttered large shallow baking pan.
Bake in moderate oven (350°) 1 hour or until chicken is tender and richly browned.
