Onion Soup En Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| 16 ounces onions, sliced thin | ||
| Water | 1 Quart | |
| 5 envelopes instant beef broth and seasoning mix, or 5 beef bouillon cubes | ||
| 1 teaspoon "legal" steak sauce | ||
| Celery salt | 1 Dash | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| slice | 4 | |
| Parmesan cheese | 2 Ounce, grated | |
Directions
In flameproof casserole, cook onions in boiling water with beef broth mix, steak sauce and celery salt, until onions are soft (about 10 minutes).
Put casserole into 450° F. oven and cook uncovered until bubbly.
Sprinkle with pepper and serve hot.
For lunch, divide Parmesan cheese over toast and place on top of casserole.
Bake until cheese is melted.
