Cheesy Onion Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Onions | 5 Large, sliced | |
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bouillon cubes | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Toasted bread croutons | ||
| 8 oz. grated Swiss cheese Parmesan cheese | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
In 3 qt glass casserole combine onions and butter.
Microwave (high), covered, 6-8 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.
Add broth and water.
Microwave (high), covered, 5-7 minutes until steaming hot.
Spoon into 4 soup bowls.
Sprinkle with croutons and cheeses.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Microwave (high) 4-6 minutes until cheese melts, rearranging dishes halfway through cooking
