Ingredients

 White onions24 Small
 Olive oil1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Wine vinegar1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Water1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), chopped
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Dry mustard1/2 Teaspoon
 Mustard seed1/4 Teaspoon
 Ground black pepper1/2 Teaspoon
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm)
 Sugar1 Teaspoon
 1/3 cup light raisins
 Minced parsley or dill

Directions

1. Boil the unpeeled onions five minutes, drain and rub off the skins. Add the oil, vinegar, water, seasonings and sugar and simmer until the onions are just tender. Add the raisins and simmer three minutes longer. Chill.
2. Sprinkle generously with parsley or dill.
